Creative Space 9001 has been used as an art venue since the former Sakuragicho station building (Tokyu Toyoko line) was closed in 2007 to make way for the Minato Mirai railway line. In the three years since then, 9001 has hosted a variety of artists and creators and supported the activities of local residents.
This exhibition, which is the last to be held at 9001 before it closes this March, features videos and installations, as well as a program of related events such as tours of the raised platform tracks that are slated to be transformed into a pedestrian-only area in the future.
