The monthly Test Tone event will host a multimedia extravaganza in February, presenting a range of visual artists from experimental filmmakers to algorithm-based media collaboration and 3-D presentations (replete with anaglyph glasses). The audiovisual interplay will take place live in collaboration with improvising musicians, using projected 16mm film as a backdrop, and complex algorithmic interplay presented on SuperDeluxe's three projection screens.

About Test Tone
For the past five years, Test Tone has been celebration of off-kilter creativity in Tokyo: from installation pieces to performance art and visual collaborations; from noise, electronica, ambient sounds and free rock to disorderly jazz and manipulated field recordings. To date, close to 500 artists have been a part of the event, together creating opportunities for unexpected improvisation, collaboration, and festival spirit.
