"The World of Magazine Covers" Exhibition

Magazine culture prospered in the 19th century along with the development of advanced printing technologies, bringing a shot of vitality to the daily lives of people. This was an international media phenomenon that occurred almost concurrently despite differences in time zone and location, reflecting the explosive increase in urban populations and industrial development in various countries. This exhibition introduces viewers to a selection of late 19th century magazines from the museum collection.
