Dumb Type
Dumb Type is an art collective that was formed in 1984 by Kyoto City University of Arts students of theater, dance, film, art, music, design and architecture. They are known for their genre-crossing performances and installations presented all over the world that tackled issues and problems such as AIDS, gender, information and network-based societies, life and death, and memory with both irony and humor. This program showcases documentary recordings of 5 Dumb Type performances produced since 1990.
