Run since 1967 by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs, the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists gives young artists an opportunity to travel overseas and study under specialists in their field, providing valuable support to the individuals who will build the foundations of the future Japanese art world.

This marks the twelfth year that the “Domani: The Art of Tomorrow” exhibition has been held, and the third year since its move to the National Art Center, Tokyo. This year, 12 currently active artists present the fruits of their overseas studies via a selection of works representing a wide variety of artistic genres.

We hope you will take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy the diverse talents of some of the leading artists of tomorrow, gathered together under one roof.
