The Gunma Biennale for Young Artists is a nationwide open-call exhibition aimed at young artists from the ages of 16-29. Out of the 1119 entries received this year, 53 works were selected. The Grand Prize was awarded to Saori Ono's "Monogatari no Ato", a group of two paintings with a strong symbolic charge.
