Osamu Mori "Can't Help Falling in Love"

Yamamoto Gendai
Finished

Artists

Osamu Mori
Osamu Mori was born in 1983 and earned a Master’s degree in sculpture from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009. At the group exhibition “Sculpture - Blues & Low Blow” at TUA, he presented the bizarre, energetic sculptural work “Much ado about love - Kappa," a reference to Marilyn Monroe and the Japanese "Kappa" monster. The new exhibition “Can't Help Falling in Love” will be Mori's very first solo show featuring his most recent works, including “Leda and the Swan," a sculpture inspired by the Greek myth of the same name, and a large-scale piece that features a bunny girl motif.
