Saburo Aso
Saburo Aso (1913-2000) was a painter who tirelessly probed the essence of painting, always maintaining a certain tension directed against society while investigating the relationship between real and painterly space. This retrospective showcases 134 oil paintings, sketches and sculptures from his entire career.
