Isson Tanaka
Isson Tanaka (1908-77) was born in Tochigi prefecture and lived in Chiba for over 20 years. He painted nihonga works that depicted the tropical plants and birds of Amami-Oshima. This large-scale retrospective exhibition includes more than 250 works including materials discovered in recent years.
