This exhibition showcases a selection of work by today’s most engaging contemporary artists that exhort us to “be alive!” – to live in the moment and grapple with life’s challenges in high spirits. On display are over 30 pieces including Tabaimo’s debut work “Japanese Kitchen” and other works by Izumi Kato, Yoshitomo Nara, Kohei Nawa, Pipilotti Rist and Miwa Yanagi. In addition, there will be a related exhibition by Mickalene Thomas entitled “Mama Bush: One of a Kind Two” showcasing her vibrant portraits adorned with rhinestones at Gallery I starting from February 17.
