"The Collection of The Kunstmuseum Winterthur: Masterpieces from the Collection" Exhibition

Setagaya Art Museum
Finished
The small town of Winterthur in Switzerland has been known by art lovers as a cultured town where wealthy people have collected fine works of art. Its municipal art museum has gained a reputation for its collection of European modern art, but until now it has not been shown outside the museum. This marvelous exhibition is coming to Japan as part of an international tour. Along with the work of masters like Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, and Picasso, it also contains paintings by Henri Rousseau, who is featured in the collection of Setagaya Art Museum, and excellent works by well-known Swiss artists like Paul Klee and Alberto Giacometti. All of the 90 works on display are being seen in Japan for the first time.
