Hiroomi Sahara's photo series "Influence of Some Smoke" is a documentary portrait of the funerals of 7 of his own relatives who passed away in the 7 years between 2003 and 2010. These works seek to investigate the rituals and events associated with the funeral as well as their descriptive and performative aspects.
