The film history of countries around the world has been deeply influenced by works of literature. Japan is no exception - scriptwriters and directors have been inspired by literary texts over more than a century of filmmaking history. The 3rd part of this series of screenings hopes to show how literary masterpieces were interpreted and translated into the 45 films in this program.
