Fumiko Kobayashi
Since completing her graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts, Fumiko Kobayashi has been exhibiting her work in various cities in Japan, Asia and Europe. She makes site-specific installations with a particular attention to process that use familiar everyday objects to reconfigure various spaces. Objects and things found in the spaces that Kobayashi works with are stripped of their use and significance, taking on a completely different cast.
