Chie Aoki
Chie Aoki is a 29 year old artist who graduated from the craft department at the Kanazawa College of Art. Using lacquerware techniques, she has produced a series of works based on motifs of the human body, daubed in jet black yet infused with a sense of translucency. This exhibition showcases 3 works including a piece measuring 280cm high and another depicting two human figures.
