"Innocence - Art towards Life" Exhibition

Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts
Finished
There are people who, despite of not having a proper art education, create a totally original visual art by following their inner impulsions - people with intellectual disabilities, or who suffer with mental diseases. In this exhibition, we would like to introduce works by people with disabilities from Tochigi Prefecture, self-taught artists, artists who are interested in and are actively involved with the art of people with disabilities. The exhibition is divided into five sections comprising around 200 works by 38 artists.
