This exhibition features photographic works created through a collaboration between photographer Kenshu Shintsubo and complexity science researcher Takashi Ikegami that explore new possibilities in landscape photography. These works were produced by taking image data of the fluid motions captured in Shintsubo's photos of light, smoke, clouds and forests, and processing that data with an advanced computing program devised by Ikegami in order to create the textures on display. The subjective sense of time found within landscapes, different from the physical concept of time, has been folded over and stretched out, as it were.
