The November 2010 exhibition at the ginza graphic gallery (ggg) will be “Kazunari Hattori November 2010.”
Kazunari Hattori has consistently produced numerous works of graphic design that are uniquely his own. Expressing himself through a variety of different media, Hattori’s works include one-of-a-kind advertisements such as those done for Kewpie Half Mayonnaise, innovative art direction work in magazines including here and there and Mayonaka, striking book designs centering on aspects such as expression through print characters and geometrical shapes, and art exhibition-related designs instilled with a superb sense of balance. In recent years, Hattori has continued to present experimental pieces through individual and group exhibitions in pursuit of new possibilities for expression.
This exhibition will not only display many of Hattori’s representative works, but also original works created specifically for this event. We hope “Kazunari Hattori November 2010” will enable you to experience the “here and now” of this talented artist.
Additionally, the book Kazunari Hattori (volume 95 in the gggBooks series) will be released to coincide with this exhibition.
