"40th Anniversary of National Film Center Part 1 - Cinema: Lost and Found 2010"

National Film Archive of Japan
Finished
This is the eighth year that the "Cinema: Lost and Found" series is being held. Previous editions featured silent foreign films from a collection donated to the Film Center by Tomijiro Komiya, a stash of prewar Japanese films unearthed in Gosfilmofond, Russia in 1996, and Japan's oldest animated film, "Namakura Katana" (1917).

This program marks the 40th anniversary of the National Film Center with newly discovered and restored films from archives around the world, as well as talks by those involved.

See website for full details on screenings schedules.
