"Video Art Touring Festival: 18 Reasons We Still Need Superman"

Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo
Finished
This video screening kicked off at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, after which it traveled to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Mumbai and Ulaanbaatar. While some artists use video to challenge our assumptions about the mimetic nature of the medium, the curatorial focus here will be the relationship between performance and video. TWS will present an extensive overview of 18 video works at this Tokyo screening.
