This exhibition showcases new work by Takao Minami, a graduate of the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in Ogaki, Gifu prefecture. Previously, Minami worked as part of the Rusanchiman art unit, showed his work at the "Mind as Passion" exhibition held at the Taipei Art Museum, a solo show at the Goethe Institut in Hanoi, and "The Loss of the Real", held at the Selasar Sunaryo Art Space in Bandung, Indonesia.

This is Minami's third solo show at Ota Fine Arts, featuring new video works from his Puppet Study series that tackle the theme of manipulation.
