Nobuyoshi Araki
Nobuyoshi Araki's cat Chiro passed away on March 3rd, 2010. Chiro was Araki's beloved companion for 22 years (105 human years), serving as his loyal partner after the early death of his wife Yoko. Confronted again with the sorrow and grief of losing a loved one, Araki was prompted to explore the journey of life and death in his photos. On display at this exhibition are 80 works that document the last few months in the life of his dear Chiro.

A newly published photo book, "Sentimental Journey, Spring Journey", will accompany the exhibition.
