Tomoko Sengoku
Tomoko Sengoku earned a master degree in sculpture from Tokyo University of the Arts, and studied photography at the University of Paris VIII. At this exhibition, she makes an attempt to create a space with a new medium, drawing.
We are surrounded with unseen matter, such as smells and damp in the air. Although it is mostly impossible to recognize the existence of these things, she sees the beauty in them because of their transience. She aims to capture and delineate temperature, humidity, and smells on paper.
