Artists

Kikuji Yamashita
Kikuji Yamashita (1919-1986) observed postwar Japanese society with a discerning yet warm eye. With his own harsh experience of war in the background, he questioned social and political issues through his works. This exhibition features collages based on the Sayama Case Trials, which were donated to the museum in 2009.
