Jiro Takamatsu
Jiro Takamatsu (1936-98) has been a prominent leader of the Japanese contemporary art scene ever since the early 1960s. He attracted much attention for his activities as one of the members of the art collective Hi Red Center, his mobile string pieces, as well as his Shadow series. This small exhibition is being held in conjunction with the publication of Yuri Mitsuda's new book "Jiro Takamatsu: Words and Things."
