Nobuhiro Aihara was a important figure in Japan's auteur and experimental film scene of the 1960s, as well as a prolific independent animator known for his extraordinarily detailed drawings and renderings, startlingly original ideas, abstract style and psychedelic use of color.

In addition to screenings of 58 of Aihara's works that offer viewers a comprehensive overview of his career, this event also features an exhibition of his drawings and original illustrations.
