Chiba City Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Noritaka Asagawa, Takumi Asagawa, Muneyoshi Yanagi, Kanjiro Kawai et al.
Korean ceramics, porcelain and woodwork has long exerted a profound influence on Japanese culture. The tea ceremony of the Momoyama Period and the Mingei folk craft movement also owes much to Korean aesthetics.

This exhibition showcases Joseon Dynasty ceramic and porcelain masterpieces selected by Muneyoshi Yanagi and the Asagawa brothers (Noritaka and Takumi) in addition to a selection of Yanagi's personal manuscripts, Noritaka's paintings and ceramics, and other works by their contemporaries.
