Bill Viola
Bill Viola is a video art pioneer who has pursued the possibilities of the medium for more than 35 years. This exhibition commemorates Viola's winning of the Praemium Imperiale, a global arts prize awarded annually by the Japan Art Association, in the painting category.

On display are 7 works created between 2001 and 2008 that feature Viola's trademark sense of drama and fantasy, as well as themes of life, death, rebirth and human emotion.

The artist will be present at the closing party on the last day of the exhibition.
