In June 1994, Susan Buirge worked in Kyoto with Japanese dancers from MATOMA on the choreography for the first installment of her work "Kin-iro". Over a period of more than a month, Claude Estèbe attended daily rehearsals in an attempt to capture Buirge's process of creation.
