Drawing pictures is something humanity has done for tens of thousands of years, and is one of the oldest means of expression. From the simple methodology of drawing lines and adding color, came the development of film technology in the late nineteenth century, leading to animation, which gives birth to complex video expression.

This exhibition looks at drawing a picture, the starting point of animation, introducing four talented artists who have been gaining attention for their unique creative methodologies. What we can glimpse frame by frame in their diligently crafted drawings is a world captured in a picture, shifting the movement in a picture into video, and thus what we could say is the shape of the creativity that humanity possesses.

This highly autumnal exhibition makes us consider the form things take in a single picture while we enjoy art animation works.
