Artists

Izumi Kato
Izumi Kato is one of the most active Japanese artists today, following his appearance at the Venice Biennale in 2007 and then at the Hakone Open-Air Museum in late 2010 to January of this year. His works are characterized by dark brown brush strokes, mixed human and plant motifs, and rough wooden sculptures and vibrant coloring.

This exhibition features soft vinyl works in coordination with Kato's first monograph publication. The number of monographs is highly limited and each of the figures is an original, created by Kato in collaboration with Linden. There will also be drawings and sculptures on display, plus talk events.
