Commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of artist Q Ei (born Hideo Sugita, 1911-1960), this large-scale retrospective introduces visitors to this seminal figure of modern Japanese art. Based on the results of extensive archival research conducted in recent years, this exhibition examines the distinctive attributes of Q Ei's art through eight topics.
