"The Collection of Toyo Nakamura" Exhibition

Finished
Toyo Nakamura, music critic and the founding editor of Music Magazine, one of Japan's pioneering pop music publications, donated his entire collection of music-related objects and ephemera to the Musashino Art University Museum & Library in 2006. The collection includes SPs and LPs of jazz, pop and folk music from around the world, in addition to a wide selection of books and scores.

This exhibition showcases selected pieces from the collection with a focus on the fascinating intersections between music and visual culture.
