"The Ultra Asian Exhibition"

The Ad Museum Tokyo
Finished
The 14th Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, popularly known as ADFEST, was held from March 17 for three days in Phuket, Thailand. Last year was a very unfortunate year for ADFEST. It was necessary for the festival to be cancelled due to political instability in Thailand, although judging sessions for the Lotus Awards were conducted in Tokyo last July.

This March, under the theme of “Jump Start,” ADFEST 2011 was successfully carried out with many delegates from numerous countries and many top creatives as speakers and judges. Judging panels consisting of international creative leaders evaluated each entry carefully and recognized and celebrated the diversity of superior Asian creativity in 15 categories, with 6 special awards. Reflecting the remarkable economic growth in the region, many of the awarded creative works demonstrated dynamic creativity. Among them was also work with social messages, evoking attention to social issues and public services.

The importance of the advertising industry in Asia in the world market has been on the rise, and interest in Asian creative power is increasing here. To respond to this trend, we have set up a permanent corner at the ADMT called "The Ultra Asian" where visitors can see winning creative
works of major Asian Awards at any time.

Please come and see the ADFEST exhibition as well as some of the great Asian creative work at “Ultra Asian.”
