The inspiration began with a 67 year old lady called Margaret Tyler. She has been collecting British royal memorabilia for the past 32 years and has the largest royal souvenir collection in Britain.
We loved the dedication, passion and eccentricity of this lady and her cluttered and chaotic house with its souvenir tins and teacups. Here in Paul Smith SPACE GALLERY, we have recreated her “Heritage House” as a pop-up shop and will be exhibiting/selling the royal memorabilia, including goods from this year’s royal wedding between Prince William and Princess Katherine.
