Goyo Hashiguchi
Born in Kagoshima, Goyo Hashiguchi (1881-1921) initially studied Japanese painting with Gaho Hashimoto but soon decided to practice Western-style painting instead. This exhibition features some 400 oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, prints, picture postcards and posters that offer viewers a comprehensive look at Hashiguchi's career.
