Kaori Kurosaki "Something to See"

LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished

Artists

Kaori Kurosaki
Kaori Kurosaki creates huge oil pastel paintings of landscapes, moths and other subjects on calligraphy paper. The delicate translucent and fluffy texture of this paper gives her paintings a trompe-l'oeil effect, while her technique of placing smaller rectangular landscapes within larger ones landscapes plays tricks on the viewer's vision. This is her first solo show.
