The posters and lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec in the collection of the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum make up a valuable set of artworks that belonged to Maurice Joyant, an art dealer and close friend of the artist. This exhibition showcases representative posters by Toulouse-Lautrec that depict the extravagant lifestyles of fin-de-siecle Montmartre and the city of Paris in general, featuring a total of 180 pieces demonstrating the innovative techniques that he was renowned for. In addition, novel items including rare test sheets, dinner menus for intimate parties and other objects are also on display.
