Bettina Rheims "Made in Paradise"

Tokyo Photographic Art Museum
Finished

Artists

Bettina Rheims
A former model and journalist, Bettina Rheims launched her career as a photographer in 1976. While her portraits of female subjects are infused with an expressiveness and gravity all her own, Rheims has also shot numerous fashion pieces and even official portraits of Jacques Chirac at the Elysees Palace. This exhibition focuses on the female portraits that have made her name.
