"Scribbles 3: Scribbles in Seoul" Exhibition

Gallery Claska
Finished

Artists

Sua, Nana, Lee Gyu-Yeol, Sung Chan-kyu et al.
Scribbling is an act that represents an emergence from limitation, the destruction of formality, an absence of consciousness. It is an intuitive form of art that reflects the human mind.

This exhibition is significant for its "emotional exchange" between Tokyo and Seoul. Seoul is still in a state of immaturity. Most of the new structures in the city were only built in the last 60 years. This hastiness has resulted in a certain dystopian sensitivity. The works of these 8 artists who are residing in Seoul at the moment are a direct, exact reflection of this environment.
