Motohiro Tomii
Motohiro Tomii has been creating sculptures out of everyday objects since the early 2000s. Focusing on the properties particular to the colors and shapes of his materials, Tomii transforms them into sculptures without contradicting or defying their original attributes.
This exhibition is an attempt to reconsider the basic principles of Tomii's practice in order to render visible the foundations of his art.
