Following a post-war boom Kokeshi fell into decline but is now being rediscovered once more, not as a traditional craft but as a something which people of today like.
This exhibition will feature examples of Kokeshi for sale, including by notable artisans, with proceeds in aid of Tohoku rehabilitation.
