This event has ended.

Reiko Tsunashima is a Sumi (traditional ink made from carbon and glue, used for Japanese calligraphy) artist who was born and lives in Tokyo.

After studying calligraphy at the Toyo Shogeiin, Tsunashima went on to show her work at international art fairs starting in 2001. Her artwork has been exhibited in Belgium, New York, Milan, Geneva, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Singapore.

Reiko's artworks are abstract expressions composed of sumi ink, water, and paper. Her ink works are strongly influenced by the prevailing weather conditions, which effectively makes them a collaboration with nature.
