Asae Soya
First solo exhibition in three and a half years by Asae Soya (b. 1974 in Kanagawa). Soya studied oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts and received the Shell Art Prize in 2001 while still a student there. She also won the Grand Prix at the VOCA exhibition the following year. Her works depict landscapes as they are perceived through one's own sense of touch and smell.

This exhibition showcases new paintings from her Slider, Bathtub and Circles series, as well as 15 new drawings.
