"Nippon Vision 4: Accessories" Exhibition

Isetan Shinjuku Store
Finished

Artists

Chiaki Morita, Megumi Takasawa, Kosei Oshita et al.
Due to the recession and a host of policies that have been encouraging a reconsideration of various national issues, interest in Japanese agriculture and the country's traditional artisanal crafts has been increasing. Young people armed with communication skills and expertise obtained by working in marketing and other fields are returning in droves to their hometowns, breathing new life and vitality into previously moribund areas.

This 4th installment of "Nippon Vision", a project that seeks to offer visitors an overview of Japan's 47 regions and prefectures, focuses on accessories created by some of Tokyo's leading fashion houses and young emerging designers.
