Koji Tanada
Koji Tanada uses an ancient Japanese woodcarving technique to create sculptures of young boys and girls out of a single tree. Their lithe and slender limbs and varied expressions combine to create an impression of immaturity and brittleness, as well as a sense of the supple, infinite possibilities of life. This is Tanada's first large-scale solo show in Tokyo.
