223 + Han Chao + Eiki Mori Exhibition

Zen Foto Gallery
Finished

Artists

223, Han Chao, Eiki Mori
Two of the young generation of Chinese photographers working in vibrant colour and pushing the boundaries of behaviour and relationships in society which had been restricted for so long. Han Chao shows himself, his lovers and his family in sensitive and contemplative portraits. 223 also works with new portraiture, reflecting the exhuberance of Chinese youth, where there are no rules about sexuality or behavior. Eiki Mori's photos are gentle illustrations of the sensitive affections, distance and loneliness of Tokyo boys. In June, Mori's photography book "tokyo boy alone" will be published in both Taiwan and Japan, with texts in Chinese, Japanese and English, following several exhibitions in various cities. Han Chao, 223 and Eiki Mori are three of the most eagerly anticipated young photographers from a new Asian generation.
