Azamino Contemporary is a series of exhibitions that attempts to break free of established social conventions regarding art, casting an eye on contemporary artists who work in the "present continuous" tense. This first installment focuses on the notion of the image, showcasing a variety of video installations and a series of screenings by up-and-coming artists curated by Koji Yamamura, one of Japan's leading contemporary animators.
