"Top of the Top" Exhibition

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation
Finished
From the micro-world of atoms and molecules to medicine and outer space, the FIRST Program (Funding Program for World-Leading Innovative R&D on Science and Technology) brings together 30 world-class researchers in Japan from a wide variety of fields. This exhibition introduces all 30 leading researchers, who were chosen by the FIRST Program from across the nation.

What do the researchers think about each and every day, and how do they do their research? How will their research affect our daily lives? Through 30 panels, this exhibition introduces visitors to 30 world-class researchers who are active at the pinnacle of their respective fields, including Mr. Koichi Tanaka, winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and Dr. Hitoshi Murayama, author of the best-selling What is the Universe Made of.
