The Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art (TARO Award) aims to support and celebrate those artists who have inherited the spirit of challenge that Taro Okamoto manifested in the making of creative works with individual expression. This year saw a total of 818 submissions, out of which 27 were selected and 5 were awarded prizes.
